Space Swarm privacy policy
Effective date: 9 September 2026
Space Swarm is an offline, single-player game. Ordinary play does not require a connection. Optional rewarded advertisements on Android and iOS connect to Google when you choose to watch one; see below.
Information stored on your device
The game stores sound/control preferences, lifetime scores, ship upgrades, weapon unlocks, salvage, item rarity, temporary weapon-loan time and a checkpoint of the current flight. Native apps use the device's preferences store and a WebView copy. Browser play uses local storage for the origin where you open the game.
You can remove this data through the device's app-storage controls or the browser's site-data controls. Uninstalling removes local app data; an operating-system backup or restore may preserve or restore it according to your device/account settings.
Services and connections
The game has no account, purchase, online multiplayer or separate gameplay-analytics service. Native packages contain their gameplay files and do not need an internet connection to play. Loading the browser edition requires the server hosting its files. That server may handle ordinary web request logs under its own policy.
Capacitor and its App, Preferences, Haptics, SplashScreen and KeepAwake plugins provide native storage, app lifecycle, vibration and display behaviour. The game does not request access to contacts, location, camera or microphone.
Optional rewarded advertisements
Android and iOS integrate Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). Ads are optional: a completed video can lend a Rare Pulse Rifle or Star Lance, or restore your ship. After a recovery, another requires five minutes of active survival in the same Swarm. Closing an ad without earning its reward leaves normal play available. Test builds use Google's official test advertisements; production ads remain disabled until configured by the developer.
The game requests consent information before requesting a live advertisement and shows Google's consent form when required. An Ad privacy control appears in Settings when Google requires a privacy-options entry point. Declining or lacking consent eligibility can make an advertisement unavailable. No ad is requested by the game at startup or during combat.
Google's Mobile Ads SDK can collect and share IP addresses, ad interactions, diagnostic information and device/account identifiers for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Google describes these categories in its Android data disclosure and iOS data disclosure. Google handles this information under its privacy policy. The game does not send your ship build or saved progression to a developer server.
The browser edition does not include a browser ad SDK. Native Debug builds use official test ads; Release builds keep ads disabled unless explicitly configured. The iOS app does not request tracking authorization or read IDFA. The release's privacy and store disclosures must reflect the actual platform, SDK configuration and audience.
Changes and contact
This policy must be published and reviewed against the submitted build before live advertising is enabled. The store listing must provide the developer's support contact and the published URL of this policy before submission.
